Since our inception over 30 years ago, Retronix has provided component recovery & refurbishment services for the electronics industry.

Our commitment to protecting the environment is reflected in our innovations which create new, eco-responsible solutions within the electronics industry. It can also be seen in our circular economy ethos and our work with suppliers towards achieving sustainability goals and a green future.

As a business, we are committed to reducing both our and our customer’s impact on the environment, supporting stakeholders looking to adopt the Circular Economy ethos of re-use, repair, and refurbishment. Our sustainability agenda incorporates Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations that affect the success of our business. Retronix has an unrelenting commitment to quality and delivering results in everything we make and do.

In 2020 Retronix recovered and/or refurbished millions of electronic components. To be more exact, in just one year we recovered nearly 3 million components from approx. 650,000 PCBs that would otherwise have gone to scrap or landfill. Retronix continue to develop reverse manufacturing processes that allow recovery of devices without damage. Retronix have devised an end-to-end international supply chain that makes it easy for our customers to move their materials into our facilities for us to recover components. We then return back those electronic components in a like-new condition, ready for our customers to re-use in alternative applications.

How we are helping the environment

Our strategy for supporting environmental sustainability is two fold. Internally, Retronix are already certified as Operationally Carbon Neutral and have put in place our plan to becoming Net-Zero by 2045. Externally, Retronix continue to assist electronics organisations seeking to adopt the Circular Economy Ethos of refurbish and repurpose.
